At ITC we have Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics Classes.
Recreational Gymnastics
We start at age 3 with Little Beams to develop core strength, muscle memory, and a love for the sport. At ITC, not only are we teaching our students the fundamentals of Gymnastics but we are more importantly teaching them to believe in themselves, work hard, set goals, and make a plan to achieve those goals. We only offer GIRLS gymnastics as we do not have the correct equipment for boys. We do however allow boys in Little Beams. If you would like recommendations on gyms that have boys gymnastics, please contact us and we will be happy to help. If your child has done gymnastics or ninja before at another gym they will need an evaluation before enrolling them in classes. These can be done Mon/Tues/Thursay at 4:00 or 7:30, Tues/Thurs at 12 or by appointment. Please let us know by calling the office 704-882-7647
Ribbon Promotion System
At ITC we use ribbons as part of our promotion process. Below you will see the list of skills required for each ribbon/level. We only test for ribbons once an athlete is proficient in the skill. We consider proficiency when athlete can complete the skill well three times in a row with no corrections. Gymnastics is a skill based sport, so skills must be done well and consistently before being promoted. Once an athlete has received all 8 (Beginner-Intermedate) of their ribbons, they will also receive a promotion sheet and this must be taken to the front desk to change classes to new level.
Competitive Gymnastics
We run USAG Xcel and Development Programs, as well as AAU XCEL Copper and Bronze for the 2024/2025. These groups are by invitation only and require a tryout. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
